Hello again! So I had the opportunity to go to Washington D.C (for the first time) this past week for a conference.
I attended the [CUR STR 2023](https://www.cur.org/events-services/str-program/) program. I had a lot of fun, I met a lot of government-related people and raised advocacy for undergraduate research. I'm glad I got the chance to be there!
I also decided to add more of the projects I have done during my undergraduate time at A-State and my exchange in Italy. For instance, me and some colleagues developed the [Fire Detection](https://ami.sc/projects/fire-detection/) code for the AI Lab course in Sapienza, during my time in Italy.
I also have to mention the [AgAdapt](https://ami.sc/projects/agadapt/) and [riceGEA](https://ami.sc/projects/ricegea/) projects that I contributed to during my time at the [EcoEvoInfo Lab](https://em-bellis.github.io/) with Dr. Emily Bellis, back in 2022. It was great working with maize prediction and later expanding it to environmental niche models.
I'll try to keep my blog more up-to-date in the future!
